Albemarle County

Albemarle County surrounds Charlottesville and offers the widest range of homes in the area, from new communities in Crozet and the Route 29 corridor to farms, estates and country homes around Keswick, Ivy, Free Union and North Garden. The western edge rises into the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the county is home to Monticello and many of the vineyards along the Monticello Wine Trail. Most of the county is a short drive from Charlottesville, so you can have more space and still be close to town.
